This next research project was undertaken by Dr. Daniel Burdsey at the University of Brighton during the Spring/Summer of 2010 & focuses on the experiences of minority ethnic communities in Hastings and St. Leonards. Dr. Burdsey states that: “Respond Academy played a key role in facilitating the research. Staff were very influential in the early stages, helping to brief me on the issues in the town and provide details on the local context. They were also able to help identify participants and other contacts, and very kindly allowed their workplace to be used to interviews and other discussions.”
